We are seeking a skilled SCADA Engineer with proven experience in Ignition SCADA platforms, including both Vision and Perspective modules. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of hands-on technical expertise, intermediate scripting skills, and a foundational understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts to help drive smart factory initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Ignition SCADA, including both Vision & Perspective modules.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Ignition’s scripting environment, with a focus on automation, data processing, and UI customization.
  • Basic to intermediate experience with SQL or other relational databases, specifically in the context of data logging, reporting, and analytics.
  • Foundational understanding of smart factory concepts and related technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Effective collaboration and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain SCADA solutions using Ignition, focusing on Vision and Perspective modules.
  • Develop and customize automation workflows through scripting (Python, JavaScript, or Ignition’s scripting environment).
  • Integrate databases for data logging, reporting, and analytics using SQL or other relational database platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Industry 4.0 and smart factory initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize SCADA systems for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Participate in system upgrades, expansions, and ongoing maintenance activities.
