Gilbane is seeking a SCA Senior Staff Support that will serve as the School Construction Authority's on-site key administrative resource, providing comprehensive clerical and organizational support to first-level management and senior clerical staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Requirements

  • Proficient in the English language, both verbal and written
  • High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required
  • Minimum of two (2) years of full-time clerical, accounting, reproduction, or administrative experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Strong technical and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing needs
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to collaborate on a daily basis with project team
  • Proven capability to establish specific, measurable, attainable performance goals and holds others accountable for achieving them
  • Understanding of contract documents and specifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide consistent daily administrative support to Field Site staff, ensuring seamless operational workflow and serving as a dependable point of contact for clerical and organizational needs.
  • Manage a variety of essential office functions, including answering and directing phone calls, performing general office duties, accurate data entry, spreadsheet management, greeting and assisting visitors, and maintaining organized filing, archiving, and records management systems.
  • Demonstrate strong computer proficiency, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage tasks with minimal supervision; possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a punctual, professional, and personable work ethic, and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and technologies. Prior experience in the construction industry is strongly preferred and considered a valuable asset.
