SAIC is seeking an SCA Engineering Technician V to support the US Navy in Crane, IN. This role involves performing CCA (Circuit Card Assembly) testing and repair on RFBU (Radio Frequency Blanking Unit) CCAs. The technician will review documentation, standard operating procedures, and drawings to determine component root cause analysis troubleshooting. They will operate hand tools and test equipment, troubleshoot and solve problems using specialized test equipment and diagnostic tools, and conduct routine repair, retrofit, systems integration, calibration, and testing. This includes in-line repair and testing, and operation of test equipment. The role also requires installing, maintaining, repairing, and modifying various types of equipment, including electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems. The technician will work from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts, or defined plans to perform testing, checkout, and troubleshooting functions, and assist in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. They will collect, maintain, organize, compile, and manipulate technical data, and support engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication, and assembly of electromechanical systems. Additionally, the technician will conduct or monitor system, subsystem, equipment, or component testing and analyze test results to determine valid recommendations and conclusions.
