About The Position

As the SBA Portfolio Analyst, you will be responsible for handling transactional and straightforward servicing actions on the existing loan portfolio under the senior officers’ supervision. Answer mainline calls and process transactional servicing actions. Prepare credit memo that are simple or with minor complexity to appropriate lending authority for approval. Analyze financial statements or tax returns to generate relevant ratios including DCRs under the supervision of senior officers. Monitor loan covenants and conditions per loan agreement, collect documents, and follow-up delinquent accounts. Maintain various monitoring and loan status reports. Order various third party provided services. Provide assistance to senior officers. Attend trainings and meetings as assigned. Comply with Bank and U.S. SBA’s established loan policies and procedures. Comply with regulatory requirements including Bank Secrecy Act-Anti Money Laundering, OFAC, US Patriot Act, Privacy Act and Community Reinvestment Act. Other duties and responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions
  • Ability to follow various work instructions with a positive attitude

Nice To Haves

  • Some experience in customer services functions is a plus, but not required.
