About The Position

Under the direction of the SBA Loan Operations Manager, the SBA Loan Specialist serves as the primary point person from the time the loan closes until paid out as it relates to system entries. The SBA Documentation Specialist will support all products, services, and processes within the SBA Lending area of United, and assist in meeting annual financial targets and business goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field or two years of work-related experience.
  • Knowledge of business /financial industry and related functions.
  • Knowledge of related computer applications such as Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.

Responsibilities

  • Process loan payments, guaranty fees and any other transactions for the customer and SBA / USDA loans.
  • Track and follow up with appropriate team members regarding ticklers.
  • Provide back up support and implementation for PCFS (Loan Manager), E-Tran, and other required systems.
  • Make any additional entries as mandated by Credit approvals.
  • Prepare monthly reports for SBA / USDA including but not limited to the SBA 1502 Report.
  • Force place insurance as required.
  • Process UCC Continuation and Terminations.
  • Process checks or wires for disbursements or bill payments from General Ledger.
  • Assist with account research, including but not limited to payment histories and interest calculations.
  • Process Secondary Market documentation.
  • Process all Collateral Releases including but not limited to CRE, Vehicles, Life Policies, Guaranties.
  • Provide audit support as needed.
  • Process declines and/or withdrawn letters according to process.
  • Perform other duties related to the Government Guaranteed loan process as needed or required.
  • Serve as back-up for the SBA team member or special projects as needed.
