In our internship program you will be responsible for supporting your assigned team with a variety of projects and administrative work. No coffee runners work here in the summer; you will do real work that you can add to your resume once you have completed this program. For our top performing interns, this program is our pipeline for many of our entry level full-time positions.

Requirements

• Completed at least your sophomore year of college. Graduates are welcome to apply as well.
• All degree programs will be considered.
• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution required.
• Exhibit core disciplines: Teamwork, Communication, Critical Thinking, Integrity, Self-Discipline, and Adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Play a vital role in assessing risk of a portfolio of Small Business Administration (SBA) loans.
• Spread and analyze borrower financial statements and make recommendations to management regarding additional due diligence required for higher risk credits.
• Learn how financial statements are spread to make decisions on the specific risk grades associated with borrower relationships using AI spreading tools.
• Learn about collateral perfection, and the activities a bank must perform to ensure the integrity of assets that serve as collateral for our loans.
• Take what you have learned in your course work, apply it to your projects and then implement those solutions or recommendations.
• Deliver a final presentation of your project/s results and make business recommendations to your department, team members and Company leadership.
• Participate in weekly HR Development Days to help interns grow professionally and learn about the industry.
• Participate in mock interviews and resume review with the talent management team.
• Participate in LinkedIn training to build and develop personal profiles and learn about online professional networking.
• Participate in DISC Assessment coursework on how to use DISC results to improve teamwork, communication, and productivity.
• Participate in "Company Insiders" Training to listen to employee success stories and learn about the company and departments.
