About The Position

The Music Department at Atlanta International School (AIS) has an extensive after-school private instruction program and is accepting applications for possible openings for August 2026 and beyond. AIS offers the full International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum to all students, from 3K through grade 12. Our challenging academic programs develop internationally-minded, critical-thinking students. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Music Education (preferred) OR Performance with professional proficiency and experience with teaching, performance, and pedagogy.
  • Master or Doctorate level college students with experience in teaching and the recommendation of two college instructors may also apply.
  • Organized, dependable, compassionate

Responsibilities

  • Provide private music lesson instructions to students in 30, 45, or 60-minute weekly lessons.
  • This is a part-time position, perhaps one or two afternoons per week (instructor sets schedule with parents) from 3:00 PM onward.
