About The Position

Western is currently hiring for Sawmill Production Labourers to join their Manufacturing Operations on Vancouver Island, BC. Current opportunities are available in the Value Added Division, Chemainus, BC, and Ladysmith Sawmill Operation, Ladysmith, BC. These positions are considered safety sensitive, and all successful candidates will be subject to a pre-employment drug test. Responsibilities

• Start in general labour or cleanup positions, and then progress into a variety of roles including machine operators
• Maintain a safe and clean work area
• Support other areas of the operations as needed
