About The Position

Masters Machine Company is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Metal Saw Operator to join their machine shop team. This is a full-time day position with a starting wage of $20.00 per hour and up, based on experience. The company offers on-the-job training and a sign-on bonus.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating saw machinery or similar equipment in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Basic understanding of measurement tools and ability to read work orders or blueprints.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and operate machinery safely.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials safely.

Nice To Haves

• Experience a plus but will train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate various types of saw machinery according to job specifications and safety guidelines.
• Measure and mark materials accurately before cutting to ensure precision and compliance with blueprints or work orders.
• Inspect saw blades and equipment regularly, performing maintenance or reporting issues to minimize downtime.
• Monitor the cutting process to maintain quality standards and adjust machinery settings as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
