Requirements

Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and stand for duration of entire shift
Strong attention to detail and quality
Knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and measuring tape
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
Be able to recognize material by shape and color
Capable of using computerized equipment
Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and work in various positions
Must cross-train and rotate on various workstations within line/complex
Must be able to use a tape measure.
Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.

Responsibilities

Operation of various hand tools to manually construct window units
Set up welding equipment and select appropriate materials based on specifications
Ensure high-quality welds to meet production standards
Operate welding machines to fabricate and assemble window frames using various welding techniques
Ensure accurate measurements and alignment during the welding process
Ensures overall quality of work produced by performing quality inspections /audits and engaging in problem solving activities to resolve issues of concern
Inspect finished products for quality and make necessary adjustments or repairs
Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following procedures and regulations (5S / PPE / LOTO)
Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and efficiency
Work in other areas where required.
