About The Position
QuikCut, LLC is seeking Saw Operators to operate and maintain saw equipment to cut metal materials according to specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a saw operator or in a similar role in a metal fabrication shop preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and precision in cutting
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials
Responsibilities
- Operate various types of saws (e.g., band saws, circular saws) to cut metal materials to specified dimensions
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to determine cutting requirements
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using measuring tools
- Inspect materials for defects and ensure quality standards are met
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of saw equipment
