About The Position

Join Lantech as a Level 2 Saw Machine Operator on our 2nd shift and build high-quality components used in stretch wrapping and material handling equipment found around the world. As a Machine Operator (SAW) at Lantech, you play a critical role in supporting our production teams by preparing materials that keep manufacturing running smoothly. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality directly impact our ability to meet production schedules and deliver high-quality equipment to customers worldwide.

Requirements

  • Can accurately read a tape measure to 1/16 inch
  • Is capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Is willing and able to work overtime as needed
  • Is detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
  • Is willing to train and become certified to operate a Raymond fork truck to move steel
  • Is customer-focused with a strong commitment to meeting production schedules
  • Has a high school diploma or equivalent (vocational or trade school training is a plus)
  • Is legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

  • Has experience operating a band saw and drill press
  • Has basic mechanical blueprint reading and interpretation skills

Responsibilities

  • Operate a horizontal band saw to cut material to specified lengths
  • Use a drill press to drill and tap holes to designated sizes
  • Follow standardized work instructions to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals
  • Stand for 9–10 hours per shift in a production environment
  • Lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs as needed
  • Work overtime when required to meet production schedules and project deadlines
