SAW OPERATOR
About The Position
As a Saw Shop Operator, you’ll get to setup our builders for success by setting up and operating power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallet creation! You’ll be a vital piece of our pallet manufacturing process, and we’re looking for a motivated individual to fill this role! 48forty Solutions is the largest pallet management services company in North America! We provide end-to-end pallet solutions, from supply to retrieval, on-site services, reverse logistics, and packaging materials. We are truly Pallet Management Made Simple, our workforce is the heart and soul of our business, and we’re looking for our next Saw Shop Operator to join our team!
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work overtime as needed
Nice To Haves
- Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Operate power saws to cut & trim wood pallets
- Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations
- Communicate to plant management effectively on a regular basis
- Ability to work overtime as needed
