As a Night Shift Saw Operator, you will play a crucial role in forming metal structures and components. The ideal candidates should have a strong attention to detail. This operator is proficient in reading blueprints, following work instructions, and can work both alone and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in sawing tasks.
• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
• Ability to adjust the controls of a machine.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and quality control.

Nice To Haves

• Saw operation and familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC saw and manual equipment to safely produce quality parts at established production requirements
• Read & interpret tape measure and other measurement tools
• Perform first-piece, in-process and other inspections as required
• Operator must be able to lift and manipulate by hand and with lift assist equipment all sizes of steel
• Operate forklifts and cranes in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure finished products meet high standards.
• Other duties as assigned
