This role is for a working foreperson who will concurrently work with the crew to complete jobs while supervising their work. The foreperson will ensure that established safety and quality values are followed, provide work direction, and promote teamwork among crew members. They will represent the company on and off job sites, communicating effectively with general contractors and sub-contractors. The foreperson will implement company policies and procedures to ensure work performance complies with ISO, OSHA standards, and DOT regulations. This role involves hiring local union members when required and discharging crew members if necessary. The foreperson will provide daily reports to administrative personnel and the superintendent on job progress and estimated completion dates. They will serve as an interface for internal and external customers to ensure satisfactory job completion and communicate all problems to the superintendent in a timely manner. Responsibilities include verifying saw details before starting a job, completing sawing in a systematic manner, using technical knowledge to expertly saw openings, confirming work completed by others, and completing work in a manner that minimizes cleanup. Other duties may be assigned by the superintendent and/or management.
