About The Position

Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Saw/Blanchard Grinder - 2nd Shift to join their team in Beltsville, MD. This is a 2nd shift position with core hours of 3 pm - 11 pm. The hourly rate for this position is $21.50 per hour + 10% shift premium. Salary information is a general guideline and based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience required
Must be able to use the computer
Read and comprehend specifications, engineering drawings and manufacturing routings
Position requires exposure to oil, dirt, and heat
Must wear safety glasses, ear plugs and steel toed shoes for entire shift
Ability to stand, sit, move 8-12 hours a day with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to lift up to 35lbs on a regular basis with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Setup and run both saw and Blanchard (grinders) machines.
Use basic MFG-Pro screen maintenance
Run the gateway release for operator report daily.
Print work orders
Identify problems with material lots and quantities
Perform all 5S+ activities and keep immediate work area clean and free from hazards.
Work in accordance with general safety rules and practices.
Responsible for finished parts conformity to print or specification.
Participate in continuous improvement of processes.
Maintain cell charts
Dedicate a minimum of one hour a week on continuous improvements activities.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
