Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) seeks a Satellite Systems Engineer to serve as Global Positioning System (GPS) Satellite Bus Systems Engineer to join their Intelligence & Weapon Systems (SI&WS) division and support the GPS sustainment program located at Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado. This role involves supporting the GPS sustainment program, which monitors the health and capabilities of GPS Block IIF satellites. The team provides reports and expertise on all aspects of the GPS system to the U.S. Space Force. Sustainment efforts are expected to continue through the life of the Block IIF satellites, with a design life expectancy to 2031 and beyond, under a 10-year sustainment contract from 2022 to 2031. As a Satellite Bus Systems Engineer, you will become a subject matter expert for satellite Bus subsystems on the GPS Block IIF satellites, focusing on GPS performance trending and analysis. You will collaborate with spacecraft payload and secondary payload subject matter experts and interact daily with U.S. Space Force personnel.
