About The Position
This role involves serving as a representative of Brett/Robinson, demonstrating courtesy and professionalism in all interactions. The position requires performing physical activities such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and squatting, often involving significant use of arms and legs. The job includes handling materials, climbing stairs, and kneeling to check under numerous beds daily, with the ability to lift 40 lbs regularly. The work environment may expose the employee to inclement weather, heat, humidity, and various cleaning products. A neat and professional appearance, including conservative grooming and proper uniform wear, is mandatory. The role also requires the ability to work according to seasonal needs.
Requirements
- The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented.
- Must have reliable transportation, valid Driver License and Insurance.
- Performs physical activities that require moving one's whole body, such as in climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, kneeling and squatting.
- Activities often also require considerable use of the arms and legs, such as in the physical handling of materials, climbing stairs and kneeling to check under 40 -50 beds per day.
- Able to lift 40 lbs on a regular basis.
- Required uniform apparel must be worn. Clothes must fit properly, be washed and pressed, and not have holes.
- Must have conservative hair, make-up, jewelry and fingernails.
- Must maintain a neat and professional appearance and personal hygiene.
Responsibilities
- Serves as a representative of Brett/Robinson, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with other employees of Brett/Robinson, owners, guests, and other members of the community.
- Empties wastebaskets, and cleans wastebasket inside and out at Satellite Office.
- Reports safety hazards, accidents, and injuries.
- Replenishes supplies in housekeeping department, such as in loading/unloading supplies, making sets, keep linen room in order.
- Fills chemical bottles in Housekeeping department.
- Attends departmental meetings.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Use of Housekeeping & IQware software.
- Strip units, start dishwasher, remove soiled linens, make beds with clean linens.
- Deliver needed supplies to housekeepers and quality attendants out in field.
