About The Position

A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable organizations to achieve their missions, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their evolving needs? Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and software, requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. That’s why we need a network engineer like you who knows how to develop the exact network the DoD needs. As a Network Engineer, you will help develop, test, modernize, and sustain secure and resilient network capabilities that support critical defense operations. You’ll use your skills in lab automation, network design, architecture, Layer 2/3 technologies, and system interoperability to improve reliability, availability, and performance across mission‑focused environments. You will also contribute to engineering efforts, including implementation planning, technical reviews, test activities, and upgrades supporting enterprise‑wide modernization. You’ll apply your knowledge in routing and switching, integration of encryption gear, network design and architecture, system interoperability, IP engineering, network transport layers, gateway protocol, and virtual routing and forwarding as you join our team of problem-solvers to help establish automation practices and procedures in a DoD lab environment. Advance your career with us as we help the DoD field and sustain Satellite Communications (SATCOM) capabilities and solutions to users of worldwide networks. Join us. The world can’t wait.
