About The Position
Now Hiring for Full-time SAS Site Director for our School Age Programs! This role is for our Before and After School program at LAVERGNE LAKE ELEMENTARY (792) in Rutherford County. The YMCA of Middle TN is looking for an enthusiastic SAS Site Director to lead teams, work with kids, and make a difference every single day. In this role, you will lead the charge by supervising staff, implementing lesson plans, and making sure our program runs smoothly. You will create magic by engaging kids (ages 5–12) in fun activities that support their growth—socially, mentally, physically, and spiritually. You will also build community by connecting with parents, school staff, and YMCA teams to keep everyone on the same page. The YMCA will provide the tools and support needed, including training, ongoing professional development, and a team that feels like family.
Requirements
- Minimum Age: 21
- High school diploma + 4 years of experience working with kids in a group setting OR Bachelor’s degree + 1 year of group experience OR 36 credit hours in child development or related fields + 2 years of experience.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- CPR/First Aid certification (within 30 days)
