About The Position

We are seeking a skilled SAS Developer to join our team. The role involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing SAS programs, macros, and scripts, as well as performing data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities. You will analyze large datasets, generate reports for business insights, and design/optimize SAS data models and workflows. A key part of this role will be validating and troubleshooting SAS jobs and production issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements, and creating automated reports and dashboards. Ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with company standards is crucial. You will also participate in code reviews, documentation, and support the deployment and maintenance of SAS applications. A significant focus will be on migrating SAS workloads, ETL jobs, and batch processes from SAS GRID to SAS Viya, which includes analyzing existing SAS GRID environments, converting and validating SAS programs for SAS Viya compatibility, and ensuring migrated jobs execute efficiently. You will also identify compatibility issues and recommend remediation approaches. In terms of Quality Assurance & Validation, you will perform code validation and reconciliation, conduct various testing phases, troubleshoot migration and ETL-related issues, and ensure data quality throughout the migration process. Stakeholder and client engagement will involve collaborating with various teams, providing progress updates, and supporting technical discussions.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in SAS programming, including macros and scripts.
  • Experience with ETL processes.
