About The Position

We are seeking an experienced SAP Warehouse Management (WM) Functional Consultant to support warehouse operations, inventory management, receiving, storage, and material movement processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong hands-on background in SAP WM functional consulting, focusing on configuration, testing, process improvement, and implementation support rather than custom development. You will be responsible for translating business requirements into effective SAP WM solutions, partnering with stakeholders to design and implement practical solutions, and leading testing and support activities. This role also involves guiding and mentoring internal resources, transferring knowledge, and acting as a trusted advisor. Industry experience in food manufacturing, food processing, or the broader food supply chain is strongly preferred, particularly within large manufacturing or distribution organizations. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for working effectively with both business and technical teams. We are looking for an execution-oriented consultant who can quickly contribute to an active implementation environment.

Requirements

Strong hands-on SAP Warehouse Management (WM) functional consulting experience supporting warehouse operations, inventory management, receiving, storage, and material movement processes.
Ability to translate business requirements into SAP WM solutions through configuration, testing, process improvement, and implementation support.
Proven track record of successfully delivering at least two to three end-to-end SAP WM implementations.
Experience across the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, user support, go-live activities, and post-production stabilization.
Experience evaluating warehouse processes, documenting requirements, and supporting solution design decisions.
Experience leading or supporting system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), issue resolution, and production support activities.
Experience identifying process gaps, troubleshooting functional issues, and coordinating resolutions.
Experience mentoring users, transferring knowledge, assisting with user adoption, or serving as a trusted advisor.
Effective communication skills across business and technical teams.
Ability to explain SAP WM processes, provide implementation guidance, support decision-making, and collaborate with stakeholders.
Strong functional SAP WM knowledge combined with practical implementation experience and troubleshooting capability.

Nice To Haves

Experience primarily in custom development or technical programming.
Experience with Cargill or similar food industry organizations.
Technical knowledge is beneficial, but the role is not focused on heavy ABAP development or custom programming.
