About The Position

CACI is looking for a SAP UI/UX role to support our new program for the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) which is a unified, four-star combatant command which provides global transportation and logistics support to U.S. military combatant commands, military services, defense agencies, and other U.S. Government organizations. USTRANSCOM conducts globally integrated mobility operations, leads to the broader Joint Deployment and Distribution Enterprise (JDDE), and provides enabling capabilities to project and sustain the Joint Force in support of national objectives.

Requirements

  • Experience: 6–10 years.
  • SAP Fiori: Expertise building and designing Fiori-based interfaces.
  • SAP Systems: Understanding of SAP environments and business processes.
  • 508 Compliance: Ability to design solutions meeting accessibility standards.
  • UX Knowledge: Strong grounding in UX principles and best practices.
  • Design Tools: Proficiency in Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
  • Prototyping: Ability to create interactive prototypes and conduct usability tests.
  • SAP UI Technologies: Experience with SAP UI5 and SAP Web IDE.
  • Responsive Design: Understanding of responsive design best practices.
  • Front-End Technologies: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Defense/Military Experience: Prior exposure to defense-related projects.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work across developers, PMs, and stakeholders.
  • Cloud Migration: Experience supporting SAP technical architecture migration to public cloud.
  • Education: Bachelor’s in Design, Computer Science, or related field.
  • UI/UX Design Experience: 3–5 years specifically focused on SAP Fiori and SAP systems.
  • Portfolio: Required to demonstrate past UI/UX projects.
  • Agile: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment)
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • A “Secret” clearance is required to begin employment.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop user‑centric interfaces for SAP Fiori applications within JTMS.
  • Ensure all designs comply with Section 508 accessibility requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define user stories.
  • Produce wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts.
  • Conduct usability testing and iterate based on feedback.
  • Partner closely with developers for accurate execution of designs.
  • Stay current with UI/UX trends, especially for defense and military applications.
