About The Position

CGI Federal is seeking an experienced SAP Training Specialist to support the development and delivery of training for an SAP S/4HANA financial management system implementation for a large Federal government agency. The ideal candidate will have experience planning and executing end‑user training for a large‑scale implementation of SAP S/4HANA. This is an exciting full‑time opportunity to work in a fast‑paced team environment supporting one of the largest organizations in the U.S. Federal Government. This position is located in one of CGI Federal’s offices in Fairfax, VA; Lebanon, VA; Lafayette, LA; or Knoxville, TN; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable. You will be required to work in a CGI Federal office two days per week.

Requirements

Due to contract and clearance requirements, U.S. citizenship is required, as well as successful completion of the CGI background check prior to beginning work.
Candidates must also have the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS EOD/Public Trust clearance.
BS degree in Business, Education, Training, HR, Information Technology, or a related field.
3 to 5 years of experience in training development and delivery for Federal government clients.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
Experience with various training authoring tools, including experience with Articulate 360 or Vyond.

Experience with Agile methodology.

Responsibilities

Use training and instructional design principles to ensure alignment with mission training objectives.
Plan, develop, and deliver training materials as scheduled.
Assist in creating training content and materials based on the financial system being implemented; this requires learning enough about the core system to support the development of relevant training materials.
Deliver training that teaches users financial processes and related technology, including role‑based exercises within an SAP training environment.
Demonstrate the desire and ability to travel within the U.S., as needed, to deliver training.
Assist in preparing supporting plans for training project completion, including comprehensive timelines.
Assist in conducting needs assessments and instructional analyses to determine appropriate learning methods.
Consult with senior instructional staff to confirm program objectives, operational procedures, and system constraints.
Stay current on developments in training and instructional methodologies, including technology enhancements.
Assist in authoring and organizing training system procedural manuals and supporting documentation for training programs and systems in accordance with organizational and departmental requirements.
