About The Position

The SAP Technical Consultant (DC Coach) is a senior role focused on coaching and guiding technical development resources throughout project execution at Syntax. This position is instrumental in ensuring the successful planning and execution of FRICEW work, fostering the growth of junior resources, and coordinating efforts between technical and functional consultants. The consultant will interface with various stakeholders, maintain high-quality standards in development practices, and uphold Syntax’s commitment to superior customer service and ‘Total Customer Satisfaction’.

Requirements

10+ years of SAP technical experience.
Minimum of 5 full life cycle implementations of SAP.
Experience with S/4 HANA and a solid understanding of S/4 HANA concepts and related technologies.
Strong hands-on experience with CPI development.
Awareness of evolving SAP technologies and a willingness to learn new technologies as needed.
Excellent multitasking abilities.
Proven mentoring skills, particularly in advising project team members on SAP best practices and standards.

Nice To Haves

Exposure to modern SAP technologies such as RESTFul ABAP, Flexible Workflows, Adobe Fragmented Forms, Custom Fields, and Logic.
Familiarity with Fiori and OData technologies.
Experience with Agile methodology.

Responsibilities

Coach and support junior resources in the execution of their work, enhancing their performance and growth within the company.
Plan and execute FRICEW work according to project timelines and specifications.
Coordinate work within the development team, ensuring collaboration between technical and functional consultants.
Interface effectively with all project stakeholders, including Functional Consultants, Project Managers, Directors, and clients.
Perform ABAP FRICE estimation and True-up processes.
Participate in project status meetings to present the status and progress of FRICE objects.
Mentor the project development team, enforcing SAP best practices and Syntax's development standards.
Conduct Project Quality Assurance to ensure adherence to development standards and best practices, focusing on high quality.
Collaborate closely with the Competency Lead/Director and provide regular status updates.
Demonstrate strong CPI development skills in alignment with technical and functional specifications.
Create technical documentation and execute/document tests for technical objects.
Engage in detailed design, realization, documentation, testing, and support activities.
Consult on all SAP-related technical matters, including custom programming, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.
Assist in organizing and preparing internal SAP technical demonstration systems to support sales initiatives.
Stay current with the latest technology advancements from SAP within areas of core competence, promoting Syntax’s objectives of superior customer service.
