About The Position

XP Power is seeking an SAP Support Analyst with strong experience in SAP Finance, ideally complemented by working knowledge of other SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, and related areas, to join our Global SAP Support Team. The successful candidate will operate within a hybrid shift pattern covering UK and US time zones, working closely with the wider team to support and enhance our SAP landscape. The team is responsible for the end‑to‑end resolution of SAP system issues, applying robust governance over system changes and enhancements, and driving continuous service and process improvement across the platform.

Requirements

  • Previous experience of working in a support environment in a helpdesk role
  • Experience using a ticket system for managing incoming support requirements and how this aligns to the principles of ITIL
  • Great communicator with ability to present complex problems in a simple manner and to a non-technical audience
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels including directors
  • Ability to work with multifunctional teams and engage with people in other countries
  • Highly self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently

Responsibilities

  • Transaction & User Support in a core SAP function - Capable of targeted, detailed investigations, identifying a solution and ideally understanding the wider impacts on the process whilst engaging with other resources to ensure all elements are resolved
  • Change & Request Support in core SAP function - Collects requirements and completes approved configuration changes. Has the ability to work with others to develop non-standard changes, managing the change through the approved governance process
  • Process & Design in core SAP function - Understands the core business process and how it aligns to SAP. Assists in discussions on future enhancements and their impacts. Can quickly adapt to the specific processes in uses and apply this to their existing knowledge.
  • Cross functional data flow - Can map data flows at a basic level, between several modules, and understand their impact in each, using this knowledge to investigate issues and changes through to resolution
  • Third Party Management / Engagement - Capable of questioning the response received from a 3rd party at a technical and process level, engaging in a meaningful discussion and meetings to help direct the needed resolution
