Key Responsibilities: As an SAP Warehouse Management (WM) consultant, you will analyze warehouse and inventory operations and translate business requirements into effective SAP WM-enabled processes and system solutions. You will assess the current state, identify stakeholder requirements, define the future state, and lead configuration and design decisions across WM and its integrations. You will act as a subject matter expert, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support key decisions to deliver scalable solutions for the warehouse, logistics, and supply chain organization.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience implementing and/or supporting SAP Warehouse Management (WM) in a consulting or in-house role.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with WM processes including putaway/removal strategies, transfer requirements/orders, picking, replenishment, staging/packing, and physical inventory.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience gathering requirements, writing functional specifications, and partnering with technical teams to deliver solutions.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience planning and executing testing (unit/SIT/UAT) and supporting defect resolution.
  • High School Diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to facilitate workshops and present solution options.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC WM deployments, upgrades, or rollouts.
  • Knowledge of MM-IM , LE/Shipping , and/or SD integration touchpoints with warehouse execution.
  • Experience with RF/mobile warehouse transactions and label/printing processes (where applicable).
  • Prior experience in distribution, manufacturing, or 3PL warehouse operations.
  • SAP certification(s) in WM/EWM, Supply Chain, or related areas.

Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements gathering and fit-to-standard workshops for warehouse processes (inbound, outbound, internal movements, replenishment, staging, packing, and cycle counting/physical inventory).
  • Configure and support SAP WM including warehouse structure (warehouse numbers, storage types/sections/bins), master data, putaway/removal strategies, transfer requirements/orders, and confirmation processes.
  • Design and optimize inventory management and warehouse execution processes; identify gaps and recommend process and system improvements
  • Support integrations with related SAP modules and interfaces (e.g., IM/MM, SD, LE/Shipping; RF/mobile scanning where applicable)
  • Develop functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams on enhancements, forms, interfaces, reports, and conversions (as needed).
  • Create and execute test strategy, test scripts, and defect triage for unit, SIT, and UAT; ensure end-to-end warehouse scenarios are validated.
  • Produce user documentation and deliver training for super users and operations teams; provide hypercare and ongoing support post go-live.
  • Monitor project progress, manage risks/issues/dependencies, and communicate status to stakeholders; contribute to team decisions and delivery outcomes.
