The SAP SF EC Specialist contributes to the overall success of Global Human Resources Technology, ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed and delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. This role ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures. The specialist champions a customer-focused culture, develops a close partnership with user and technology/engineering stakeholders, and provides the overall strategy to operate and enhance SAP SuccessFactors EC. They lead a team to design and implement solutions to meet business requirements and manage the formulation of deployment strategies for projects and business as usual (BAU) activities, ensuring compatibility with existing HR systems. The role supports GHRT teams with the design of SAP SuccessFactors, leading a team of technology experts focused on cross-platform solutions within SFSF. Collaboration with test teams is crucial for timely delivery of quality products/functions, and the specialist troubleshoots issues, contributing hands-on when necessary. Investing in team capabilities through knowledge transfer, training, and mentoring is also a key aspect of this role. The specialist must understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions. They independently resolve complex, multi-faceted problems by applying HR and technological knowledge to design methodologies, models, and/or systems solutions. This includes research and analysis, defining user requirements and processes, participating in reengineering HR business process workflows, and liaising with users. Participation in the systems implementation process involves interpreting business requirements into technical specifications, systems analysis, documenting reporting requirements, ensuring integration with existing HR systems, supporting test strategies and cases, defining user procedures and workflows, developing conversion and implementation strategies, verifying conversion, and providing post-implementation support. Reviewing Quality Assurance (QA) test strategies for assigned projects/initiatives to ensure comprehensive testing is essential. The specialist supports QA testing by analyzing defects to provide clarification on business and technical specifications, define defects needing resolution for implementation, and negotiate defect severity with users. Continuous learning and enhancement of knowledge in Human Resources Information Systems, strategies, policies, industry best practices, regulatory requirements, internal bank processes, and rapidly changing technology are expected to provide effective business solutions. Independent problem resolution to meet business needs, potentially involving rapid prototyping and iterative development, is also a key responsibility. Knowledge of Career Development and structuring employee career progress and development programs is required.
