SAP Senior Application Developer

About The Position

RGP is seeking an SAP Senior Application Developer to build custom applications using SAP UI5 and Fiori. The applications will connect SAP Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM), Warehouse Management (WM), other SAP modules, and non-SAP systems. The role requires strong UI5/Fiori development experience and working knowledge of ABAP and OData Services, including how they can be extended. The developer will follow SAP best practices for solution design and development, work with cross-functional project teams, and adapt to changing business needs. The position is based in Centennial, Colorado. The candidate will work onsite Monday through Thursday for the first two to three weeks, after which remote work is available. This is a contract-to-hire position lasting at least six months, with compensation of $60–$70 per hour on W-2, plus benefits.

Requirements

Must be authorized to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship.
At least 8 years of development experience in the SAP ecosystem, including Fiori, UI5, HANA, ABAP, and other technical SAP components.
Experience with model/view/controller (MVC) programming concepts, application development standards, and libraries.
Proven experience developing, deploying, optimizing, and supporting SAP UI5 applications.
Experience deploying custom and standard SAP applications to Fiori, including troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization.
Proficiency with VSCode, Git, XML, JSON, OData, and CDS Views.
Experience collaborating with business analysts, developers, and project leaders on enterprise application design and development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

Aerospace and Defense industry experience.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
ABAP programming experience, including debugging and supporting legacy code.
Knowledge of SAP HANA methods, functions, and capabilities, and of solution integration and architecture.
Experience with development, unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing, including building and automating test cases.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, deploy, optimize, and support custom SAP UI5 applications in the Fiori platform.
Build integrated solutions connecting SAP PP, MM, WM, other SAP modules, and non-SAP systems.
Deploy custom and standard SAP applications to Fiori, and troubleshoot, debug, and tune them.
Use ABAP, OData Services, and CDS Views to extend SAP functions and support application needs.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and project leaders on enterprise systems and application design and development.
Conduct development, unit, integration, and regression testing, including building and automating test cases.
Apply SAP best practices to solution design, development, and architecture.
Adapt to changing business priorities while meeting deadlines.
