SAP NS2 Functional Application Architect - Onsite / Chantilly, VA
About The Position
SAP NS2 is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed professional to fill the role of a functional application architect in Chantilly, VA. The ideal candidate works well with a team and has the desire and aptitude to learn new software, cloud applications and information technology concepts. Experience working as part of a team as a consultant to intel customers. You’ll have experience with enterprise software or cloud applications such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, Google and be able to communicate effectively. This role is part of a broader team implementing and maintaining SAP enterprise software solutions. As a functional consultant you will work closely with customer end users and developers to translate current processes into requirements for configuration and development of new functionality.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain clearance.
- Experience with enterprise software or cloud applications such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, Google.
- Ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities
- Work with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements for new software applications.
- Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance.
- Serve as a liaison between technical team and the stakeholders.
- Designing and developing new functions or improving existing ones.
- Gather and analyze requirements to design or enhance new processes to improve user experience.
- Interface with senior leadership for guidance on information strategy, vision, and priorities.
- Create documentation such as requirements specifications, test scripts, user guides, and help files.
- Perform quality assurance testing of new software releases to ensure that they meet stated requirements.
- Provide technical support to end users and helping them troubleshoot issues with software applications.
