About The Position
We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Material Master Functional Consultant to support a large-scale ERP modernization initiative within a highly regulated federal environment. This is a 75% remote position with approximately 25% quarterly travel to the Washington, DC metro area. Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with an Active Secret Clearance.
Requirements
- 10 years of experience with SAP MDG
- Deep understanding of SAP MM processes
- Hands-on experience with MDG data models, UI, and workflows
- Familiarity with multi-system landscapes
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- U.S. Citizens with an Active Secret Clearance
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and implement enterprise-level SAP MDG Material Master data governance solutions.
- Lead workshops to capture business rules, map master data workflows, and design Material Master data models.
- Set up the MDG-M framework including data modeling, UI FPM modeling, and process modeling.
- Configure change request workflows and validation/derivation rules using BRF+.
- Enforce data quality and governance policies for material lifecycle management.
- Configure DRF, SOA/Web services, and IDocs for data synchronization.
- Conduct Unit Testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
