About The Position

We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Materials Management (MM) to join our Supply Chain IT team. This role is responsible for the design, development, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP applications used to enable and optimize supply chain operations. The position will work closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum 5-8 years of strong hands-on experience with SAP MM configuration (plants, storage locations, procurement, inventory management, logistics).
• Proven expertise in Inventory Management (valuations, stock movements, reconciliations).
• Practical knowledge in material master data management (cleansing, extension, migration).
• Experience in project cutover, go-live, and hyper-care support.
• Experience with cleansing the material master, transactional data like open purchase order, reservations, purchase req etc.
• Experience with PO, Material master and Contract extracts from SAP tables.
• Experience with material master extension, transfer of inventory and PO Conversion strategy.
• Experience with mapping and troubleshooting for IDOC/EDI transactions from SAP to SAP and SAP to non-SAP systems for Material master, Inventory, info records, contracts, purchase orders.
• Experience with Advance Ship Notification, Vendor Invoice.
• Strong background in procurement and logistics operations.
• Hands-on experience with Material Planning, MRP procedures, and cycle counting.
• Experience with IDOC/EDI mapping and troubleshooting (PO, ASN, Vendor Invoice).
• Ability to create functional and technical specifications for development work.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex SAP issues.

Nice To Haves

• Integration to Oracle ERP will be preferred.
• Good understanding of integration with FI, SD and Work management modules.
• Prior experience mentoring team members and supporting large-scale SAP implementations.
• Prior experience with divestiture projects is a plus.
• ECC to COUPA integration knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, development, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP applications used to enable and optimize supply chain operations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.
• Serve as the primary functional resource for all Materials Management data requirements, supporting multiple ETL and reporting projects.
• Collaborate with BI and ABAP teams to develop functional specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, and enhancements related to MM data.
• Lead data extraction and reconciliation efforts, ensuring a smooth transition and maintaining data integrity.
• Develop and utilize test plans and tools to ensure programs are thoroughly tested before they are installed.
• Provide project cutover and hyper-care support.
