About The Position

The SAP Lead Systems Analyst has two primary areas of responsibility: SAP Production Planning and management of the Explore/Discovery phase of SAP implementation projects. The role governs, guides, designs, configures, and implements SAP production planning functionality supporting manufacturing and planning across Hubbell. This includes helping deploy SAP manufacturing solutions such as MRP, Production Planning (PP), MES, and PLM in alignment with company configuration standards, business processes, and enterprise architecture. The analyst works with IT peers, Global Operations, business stakeholders, and external implementation partners to gather and analyze requirements, support business cases and project proposals, and translate business needs into system designs. The position also manages a third-party systems integrator during requirements gathering for SAP implementation projects. It coordinates between the integrator and the business, ensures the integrator’s tools are reviewed and used according to Hubbell standards and processes, and works with the integrator lead to manage activities and confirm that outputs meet agreed conditions and standards. The role resides on the SAP Implementations project team supporting SAP implementations for Hubbell acquisitions. The successful candidate brings SAP Production Planning design and configuration experience along with leadership, communication, and management skills. The role reports to the Director, IT SAP Implementations.
