About The Position

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented SAP (Systems Analysis Program) Integration Developer to join our team. This is a remote position. The Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) uses the ABAP development stack to develop end user business applications, and you would be responsible for the technical design, development, testing, deployment, and post release support of SAP Integration solution architecture.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree and least 3 years’ experience in incorporating a combination of SAP S/4HANA PI/PO skills and modern API framework to enable system-to-system, communication, data exchange, and integration is required.
  • Significant experience modifying software based upon complex software specifications and technical designs.
  • Proven experience using sound software engineering principles to develop and test incremental code for reliability and efficiency.
  • Experience designing code and testing functional components of information systems according to specific project requirements.
  • Experience developing technical project documentation and comprehensive user training materials.
  • Experience producing database extracts and maintaining system baselines and configuration management items.
  • Experience working across a large team to drive a technical agenda and working with complex, intertwined systems and data flows.
  • Must be a US Citizen and be willing and able to undergo a Tier 2 Investigation with favorable results prior to starting this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience creating, maintaining, and communicating complex information technology documentation.
  • Good knowledge of user interfaces, SAP development tools, UI frameworks aand SAP Business Technology Platform.
  • SAP and Profressional Certifications desired

Responsibilities

  • Modifying software systems based upon detailed software specifications and designs.
  • Using sound software engineering principles to develop and test incremental code that is modifiable, efficient, reliable, and understandable.
  • Designing, coding, and testing functional components of information systems according to project specifications.
  • Developing project documentation and user training materials according to program specifications.
  • Producing database extracts to support system data requirements and reporting.
  • Working with all stakeholders to ensure complete and functioning systems that meet all requirements.
  • Recommending, and when approved, implementing process and policy improvements.
