About The Position

C5T Corporation is seeking an SAP Integration Suite Senior Developer to join the Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS) team. This role requires deep expertise in SAP Integration Suite and prior experience supporting USTRANSCOM transportation operations, systems, or programs. The JTMS program implements, supports, and maintains a mission-critical SAP S/4HANA solution supporting transportation and logistics operations for the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) and the Department of Defense. The JTMS team manages Planning, Procurement, Fulfillment, Financials, Application Development, and Technical Operations, including Security, GRC, and Identity and Access Management. The SAP Integration Suite Senior Developer is responsible for the solutions that exchange data among SAP instances and external systems across the JTMS landscape, following Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles and SAP best practices. This position ensures SAP Integration Suite capabilities align with DoD transportation doctrine, regulatory requirements including the Defense Transportation Regulation (DTR) and the DoD Financial Management Regulation (FMR), and Clean Core principles, while supporting complex integrations across DoD and commercial transportation ecosystems. The JTMS solution is foundational to the DoD mission, enabling the fielding and sustainment of transportation, logistics, and financial operations.

Requirements

U.S. citizenship.
Active DoD Secret clearance (minimum).
15+ years of SAP experience, including 10+ years in SAP integration middleware.
Prior experience supporting USTRANSCOM transportation operations, systems, or programs.
Deep expertise in SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Platform Integration / Cloud Integration), SAP Integration Advisor, and SAP BTP.
Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and BTP architecture, and of SAP integration patterns (APIs, middleware, event-driven).
Deep understanding of point-to-point, hub-and-spoke, publish-subscribe, and event-driven architectures.
Proficiency in Groovy scripting, XSLT, and API management.
Deep understanding of EDI standards (EDIFACT, X12) and B2B scenarios, with experience in DoD EDI standards.
Deep understanding of REST, SOAP, OData, SFTP, EDI, and JSON/XML formats.
Experience publishing, securing, and monitoring APIs through API Management while enforcing security policies (OAuth, SAML, SSL/TLS).
Knowledge of SAP IDoc processing and monitoring, including the SAP CPI IDoc sender and receiver adapters used to transform IDoc messages to XML.
Knowledge of SAP ABAP client and server proxy technology.
Ability to adhere to strict development standards and conduct code reviews.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience on JTMS or similar DoD logistics modernization programs.
Experience with DoD EDI standards through the Defense Transportation Electronic Business (DTEB) program.
Experience with SAP NS2 or IL5-hosted SAP environments.
Working knowledge of the DTR, DoD FMR, and SAP Clean Core principles.
SAP BTP Integration Suite training and certification.
Technical degree with relevant coursework.

Responsibilities

Participate in the analysis of the customer's business operations to validate requirements and scope, recommend process improvements, and assist with level of effort (LOE) estimation as required.
Analyze business requirements to design and develop end-to-end integration flows (iFlows) using synchronous, asynchronous, event-driven, and API-led patterns.
Evaluate, model, and design interface objects from an enterprise service architecture perspective.
Configure connectors, mappings, routing rules, and security protocols (OAuth, SAML, SSL/TLS).
Configure standard and custom adapters (SFTP, REST, SOAP, OData, JDBC, IDoc) and manage message mapping, transformation, and routing.
Configure EDI interfaces using Trading Partner Management (TPM), implement message mapping (MIG/MAG), and configure adapters (AS2, SFTP, OData).
Develop Groovy and Java scripts for complex mappings between SAP instances and external systems through the SAP Integration Suite instance.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and debug integration flows to resolve performance issues.
Implement SAP ABAP software applications and interfaces.
Develop, test, debug, implement, maintain, and document interfaces using SAP Proxy and IDoc technologies.
Develop and maintain SAP design and technical specification documents.
Conduct unit, integration, and release testing to validate functionality.
