SAP Functional Lead
About The Position
The SAP Functional Lead will be responsible for understanding current business processes across all regions and plants, guiding junior team members, and analyzing legacy systems. This role involves working with stakeholders to transform current processes and legacy systems to industry best standards and technologies, focusing on SAP MM modules. The lead will perform requirements gathering, business analysis, and Fit-Gap/Fit-to-Standard analysis to identify gaps and recommend technology/process solutions. A key responsibility is developing a roadmap for transformation without impacting operations, deploying SAP S/4 MM globally, and integrating it with legacy and other applications. The role also includes providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Understanding of current business processes across all regions/plants.
- Ability to guide and mentor junior team members.
- Understanding of Legacy Material Requirements Planning (MRP) functionality and associated systems.
- Experience working with stakeholders on system transformation.
- Focus on SAP MM modules.
- Proficiency in Requirements Gathering, Business Analysis, and Fit-Gap/Fit-to-Standard Analysis.
- Ability to recommend technology/process solutions.
- Experience in developing roadmaps for transformation.
- Experience deploying SAP S/4 MM globally.
- Experience integrating SAP with legacy and other applications.
- Ability to provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Understand the current business process across all regions / plants.
- Independently guide and mentor junior team members, fostering their development and ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Understand the functionality of current Legacy Material requirements Planning (MRP) and associated upstream and downstream systems.
- Work with various stakeholders to study the transformation of current process / legacy systems to Industry best standards / technology/ systems focusing on the SAP MM modules.
- Perform Requirements Gathering, Business Analysis, and Fit-Gap / Fit-to-Standard Analysis to understand the as-is/to-be states and identify key functionality / process gaps.
- Recommend possible technology / process solution to address gaps.
- Develop roadmap / transformation map without impacting the operations.
- Deploy SAP S/4 MM across various sites globally and integrate with both legacy & other best-in-breed applications.
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
