About The Position

The SAP S/4HANA Functional Consultant is a critical role within the SAP Center of Excellence, acting as a bridge between business requirements and system capabilities. You will be responsible for the end-to-end functional design, configuration, and support of SAP modules to ensure solutions are scalable, compliant, and aligned with enterprise goals. This position offers the chance to drive innovation by leveraging SAP Activate methodology and monitoring industry trends to recommend system enhancements.

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on SAP functional experience in configuration and support
  • Strong understanding of SAP business processes and integration points
  • Experienced with SAP S/4HANA and familiar with SAP Fiori applications
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear functional specifications
  • Proficient in documenting functional designs and creating test scripts
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders
  • Familiar with SAP Activate methodology and ITIL service management practices

Nice To Haves

  • SAP certification in relevant modules
  • Proven track record in SAP implementation or rollout projects
  • Strong grasp of Agile or hybrid project delivery models
  • Exposure to SAP Cloud ALM or Solution Manager
  • Experience working within the manufacturing or distribution industries
  • Ability to maintain data integrity and security compliance within a complex SAP environment

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document business processes to identify optimization opportunities using SAP best practices
  • Gather, validate, and prioritize functional requirements with business stakeholders and COE team members
  • Configure SAP S/4HANA modules and Fiori applications based on functional specifications
  • Perform fit-gap analysis and create functional designs for RICEFW objects
  • Execute unit testing, coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), and manage defect resolution
  • Provide post-go-live functional support, including incident management and root cause analysis
  • Maintain accurate documentation for configuration and process flows in compliance with ITIL standards
  • Deliver end-user training and develop comprehensive training materials
  • Participate in release management, transport coordination, and change control processes
  • Collaborate with technical and PMO teams to support project planning and governance
