About The Position

As a Manager in EY’s SAP practice and Technology Consulting sub-service line, you will lead and deliver SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) initiatives that help clients transform logistics operations and improve cost, efficiency, quality, and effectiveness. You will work with business stakeholders to evaluate business models, processes, and operations; gather and analyze requirements; translate them into technical specifications; and collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver system architecture and solutions. The role involves leading client-facing workstreams from planning through execution and closure, configuring SAP EWM and related modules, and ensuring implemented solutions meet business requirements. The position is open to candidates anywhere in the country, with travel estimated at 40–60% to meet client needs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (four-year degree).
Typically 4–6 years of relevant experience.
At least 3 years of hands-on experience delivering SAP EWM solutions.
Experience managing an SAP project or workstream and project-based team members.
Experience leading client-facing engagements, mentoring team members, and managing stakeholder expectations throughout project delivery.
Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to research complex client issues, emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in technology business requirements definition, analysis, and mapping.
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Flexibility and willingness to travel to meet client needs; estimated travel is 40–60%.
Strong business acumen and ability to develop solutions to complex problems.

Nice To Haves

Prior consulting industry experience or deep industry experience in warehouse management.
SAP certifications, preferably in SAP EWM or related Supply Chain Management solutions.
Experience leading or participating in at least two full-lifecycle SAP EWM implementations from design through deployment and post-go-live support.
Experience performing hands-on SAP system configuration.
Experience designing and documenting custom RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, and Forms) solutions, including functional specifications.
Experience integrating SAP EWM with other SAP modules, including S/4HANA, MM, SD, PP, and TM.
Experience developing, executing, and managing test strategies, test scripts, and defect resolution activities.
Experience writing and delivering training materials for end users.
Knowledge and understanding of warehouse operations for distribution and/or manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

Lead and deliver quality SAP projects and workstreams, managing processes and solutions effectively.
Track deliverable completion and project status, ensuring alignment with performance objectives.
Lead client working sessions and workstreams from planning through execution and closure.
Participate in Explore phase design workshops.
Configure SAP EWM and other related SAP modules.
Design custom RICEF solutions and document functional specifications.
Test solutions.
Support the development and delivery of training materials.
Provide on-site hypercare support to client warehouse users.
Monitor progress, manage risks, and keep key stakeholders informed about progress and expected outcomes.
Gather and analyze business requirements, advise stakeholders on SAP system capabilities, and translate requirements into business and technical solutions.
Architect and blueprint solutions, complete workflow and documentation, and coordinate configurations across SAP and non-SAP systems.
Manage engagement economics and resource planning, lead teams, and manage change.
Identify opportunities for additional services and lead specific RFP responses.
