We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a SAP Engineer III to join the Global Digital & CyberSecurity team. CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered remote which means it does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a CohnReznick office location. However, as a remote employee, you may be required to be present at a CohnReznick office with scheduled notice for client work, team meetings, or trainings. WHY COHNREZNICK? Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field to ensure foundational knowledge.
  • Extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud system administration to handle complex tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address system issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of database management to ensure data integrity.
  • Proficiency in operating systems like Windows and Linux to manage diverse environments.
  • Advanced understanding of network protocols and security to protect system data.
  • SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud administration certification to validate expertise.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms to leverage modern technologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet business demands.
  • Lead meetings by setting clear objectives, driving focused and collaborative discussion, and ensuring accountability for timely completion of action items.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud architecture to understand system components.
  • Working knowledge and subject‑matter expertise in one or more SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud functional areas, including FICO, Order‑to‑Cash (OTC), Project Systems (PS), Security, and/or system integrations.
  • Proficiency in system monitoring and performance tuning to maintain optimal operation.
  • Advanced scripting skills (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) to automate tasks.
  • Strong understanding of user access and security management to protect system integrity.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills to resolve complex issues.
  • Expertise in database management systems (e.g., SAP transport management) to manage data effectively.
  • Advanced understanding of cloud computing concepts to utilize modern infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies to lead system improvement initiatives.
  • SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud for enterprise resource planning.
  • SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Fiori for user interface and experience.
  • SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud GUI for system access and management.
  • Windows and Microsoft Office Suite operating systems for diverse environments.
  • Cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) for scalable infrastructure.
  • Advanced networking protocols for secure communication.
  • System monitoring and performance tuning tools for optimal operation.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and configure SAP S/4 HANA Public Cloud ABAP solutions.
  • Implement custom enhancements to standard SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud software to meet business needs.
  • Execute UAT and tasks for Upgrades, Mergers and Acquisitions, Vendor Coordination, and other associated projects.
  • Configure and maintain SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting issues related to ABAP programs.
  • Enhance SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud modules focusing on Authorization, Data Migration, and Integration techniques as well as recommending best practices or improvements in current product or in the area of ownership for better support or user experience
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues for the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud ecosystem integrations
  • Perform regular system backups and recovery to ensure data protection.
  • Document system configurations and procedures for future reference and compliance.
  • Assist in system audits and compliance checks to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Implement new SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud ecosystem modules and features to enhance system capabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to integrate SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud systems with other business applications.
  • Develop and execute system improvement plans to optimize performance and efficiency.
  • Monitor all upcoming changes being deployed by SAP.
  • Work on testing plans and keeping senior staff updated on upcoming changes.
  • Understand downstream impacts of changes including hot fixes.
  • Create impact summary and review with leadership.
  • Direct resource allocation and planning with project management teams
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) of the products, services, and the application workings across all parts of the SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud ecosystem including but not limited to Fiori, ABAP, CDS Views, OData, Integration Suite, BADI, and developer coding
  • Provide guidance on how to service support tickets and coordinate as needed to resolve issues or incidents reported
  • Lead root cause analysis
  • Be a part of the on-call support during releases/deployments and external coverage
  • Configure Application Extensions
  • Contribute to, review, and maintain process and system documentation; this includes documenting business processes, technical processes, integrations, software specific documents and knowledge base articles
  • Serve as backup to other team members to backfill during peak periods, PTO, etc.
  • Create and maintain documentation and audit trails on the systems
