SAP Data Migration Engineer - Syniti (US Remote)
About The Position
Belden is seeking an SAP Data Migration expert with extensive experience in SAP data migration projects and prior experience using Syniti tools such as ADM or ADMM. The role requires knowledge of SAP data models and migration processes, collaboration with cross-functional teams, a focus on data quality, and delivery against project timelines. The position supports end-to-end migration projects and involves configuring migration tools, defining requirements with stakeholders, planning and executing migration activities, and coordinating technical workflows. The role is listed as US Remote; Belden also offers hybrid and remote work practices where feasible.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in SAP data migration roles for greenfield or brownfield projects.
- Expertise in data migration methodology, including mock cycles and validation approaches.
- Experience with LTMC, DMC, BODS, and Syniti tools, including Syniti ADMM/SKP, Syniti Knowledge Platform, Reporting Hub, and Migrate & Construct.
- Experience with legacy SAP data tools such as LSMW and MASS.
- Strong understanding of SAP modules and data structures, including S/4HANA and ECC.
- Extensive knowledge of SAP data models, including materials, business partners, BOMs, and routings.
- Knowledge of configurable materials and related data objects, including material classes and characteristics.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a focus on data quality and integrity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

- Syniti ADMM certification.
- Exposure to Variant Configuration (VC or AVC).
Responsibilities
- Participate in end-to-end data migration projects, aligning work with business objectives and SAP implementation strategies.
- Configure Syniti ADMM and BODS tools for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL), ensuring accurate and efficient migration.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data mapping and migration requirements, scope, and timelines.
- Develop and implement data migration plans, including data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation.
- Conduct data profiling and analysis to assess data quality and identify issues before migration.
- Coordinate with technical teams to design and optimize migration processes and workflows.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards throughout the migration process.
