SAP Concur iXp Intern - Data Strategy
About The Position
The SAP Concur iXp Intern - Data Strategy will work with the Data Strategy team within SAP Concur’s Marketing Technology organization, helping keep marketing data clean, compliant, and decision-ready. The role is based at SAP Concur’s Bellevue, Washington office and is a full-time internship for 40 hours per week, with an anticipated January 2027 start date and a six-month duration. The intern will support the monitoring and maintenance of marketing data health, help define and enforce data management standards, and build dashboards and visualizations that communicate insights to stakeholders. The role also involves developing training and enablement materials with designers and communicating project progress, milestones, and findings to stakeholders. The intern will be part of SAP Next Gen, a global community for students and early professionals with access to mentors, development programs, and peers.
Requirements
- Studying Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of data management, data hygiene, or data warehousing concepts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate technical findings for non-technical audiences.
- A methodical, detail-oriented approach to managing and validating data.
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
- A customer-oriented mindset, with consideration for stakeholders who rely on accurate, actionable data.
- Openness to working with AI tools, including agentic AI, to automate everyday tasks, prototype ideas, and develop confidence in AI-assisted ways of working.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Marketo, Salesforce, Ringlead, or the ZoomInfo suite.
Responsibilities
- Monitor data health and maintain accuracy across marketing data systems day-to-day.
- Help define and enforce data management standards, including retention policies, deduplication, and mass data deletion.
- Build dashboards and data visualizations that translate complex datasets into clear stakeholder insights.
- Partner with designers to develop training and enablement materials for a range of audiences.
- Draft and distribute stakeholder communications on project progress, milestones, and key findings.
