About The Position
Robert Bosch LLC seeks an SAP Business Process Consultant to provide business process guidance on SAP requirements and design, specifically in Master Data Management (MDM) including material, customer, and vendor master data. This role involves collecting business requirements through workshops, business analysis, and observations. The consultant will compare existing Bosch Mobility Aftermarket template processes with SAP MDM processes for all customers, materials, and vendors, ensuring seamless operation in the new environment and identifying areas for improvement. The position requires understanding and ensuring processes align with guidelines, supporting integration testing and user acceptance, and assisting with Key-User training and documentation preparation. Additionally, the role involves identifying user department roles and responsibilities for authorization concept implementation, supporting legacy data migration during Go-live, planning the cut-over strategy with business departments, and providing support during the Post Go-live phase.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, International Business, Finance or a related field.
- 3 years of experience as a SAP MDM Consultant or in an occupation involving SAP MDM processes (material, customer, vendor in various SAP systems (POE, PT0, P39 or PMD).
- Employment experience with SAP MDM process including material, customer, vendor in various SAP systems include order to cash, inventory, and logistic modules.
- Employment experience with Rollout and Integration in cross functional topics in Material Management, Customer, Sales and distribution.
- Employment experience with Implementations of MDM and ability to act as an internal consultant for MDM related topics.
- Employment experience with Providing solution-based recommendations to support implementation efforts.
- Employment experience with Automobile industry.
Responsibilities
- Provide business process guidance on SAP requirements and design, specifically in Master Data Management (MDM) including material, customer, and vendor master data.
- Collect business requirements by attending process-scoping workshops, Business analysis and targeted observations.
- Compare the requirements of what is available in the Bosch Mobility Aftermarket template to the processes in SAP MDM Process for all customers, materials, and vendors.
- Ensure the existing processes will run seamlessly in the new environment and assess the scope for improvement.
- Understand and ensure processes are as per guidelines.
- Support to complete Integration testing and obtaining user acceptance.
- Support to train the Key-User in the new system and support the users in preparation of training documentation.
- Identify roles and responsibilities of user departments to ensure implementation of the authorization concept as per Bosch guidelines.
- Support in the migration of legacy data during the Go-live.
- Plan the cut-over strategy (i.e. strategy for changeover to new system) in conjunction with the Business departments.
- Support during Post Go-live of project.
