About The Position

oXya is seeking a SAP BTP Integration Specialist responsible for designing, implementing, and managing SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) solutions to support client digital transformation efforts. The role involves analyzing client requirements, designing end-to-end integration architectures between SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP BTP services, and configuring applications and integrations using SAP BTP capabilities. The specialist will demonstrate deep expertise in SAP Integration Suite, define integration governance frameworks, enable hybrid cloud integrations, build secure APIs, and manage integrations with various SAP and third-party platforms. The role also requires designing scalable architectures with DevOps practices, monitoring and optimizing integrations, staying current with SAP BTP innovations, and collaborating with various technical teams. Additionally, the position involves managing the full lifecycle of SAP BTP solutions, leading project deliveries, developing project documentation, supporting change management, and participating in Agile environments. The specialist will serve as a subject matter expert, act as a technical liaison, mentor team members, and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6+ years of SAP experience, including 3–5 years of hands-on SAP BTP experience.
  • Proven experience delivering complex SAP BTP implementations including integration, extension development, or analytics solutions.
  • Strong expertise in SAP Integration Suite, API Management, and BTP services.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and modern deployment strategies.
  • Understanding of SAP cloud security and compliance standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with SAP BTP solutions within industries such as manufacturing, retail, or financial services is considered a plus.
  • Experience with middleware or iPaaS platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Azure Integration Services is beneficial.
  • Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development, SAP HANA Cloud, and cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes or Docker is preferred.
  • SAP BTP certification or related certifications are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze client business and technical requirements to design tailored SAP BTP solutions that support enterprise integration and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Design and implement end-to-end integration architectures between SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP BTP services.
  • Configure and customize applications, integrations, and extensions using SAP BTP capabilities including Integration Suite, Extension Suite, and SAP HANA Cloud.
  • Demonstrate deep expertise in SAP Integration Suite, including Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management, Open Connectors, Event Mesh, and B2B/EDI integrations.
  • Define and implement integration governance frameworks, architectural standards, and reusable integration templates within SAP BTP to ensure consistency, scalability, and best practices.
  • Enable hybrid cloud and on-premise integrations while building secure APIs and event-driven architectures using SAP API Management and Event Mesh.
  • Build and manage integrations between SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, and third-party platforms such as Salesforce, Workday, and ServiceNow.
  • Design scalable, resilient, and secure architectures leveraging modern DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and cloud deployment strategies.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integrations and applications using SAP BTP monitoring tools, ensuring high performance, reliability, and cost-efficient cloud workloads.
  • Stay current with SAP BTP platform innovations, roadmap developments, and industry best practices to continuously enhance client solutions.
  • Collaborate with SAP BASIS, Network, DevOps, application teams, and other technical stakeholders to ensure seamless solution delivery and operational excellence.
  • Partner with the Sales and Pre-Sales teams to support client engagements, including solution architecture discussions, technical presentations, proposal development, and effort estimation for SAP BTP opportunities.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of SAP BTP solutions, from design and architecture through deployment and support.
  • Lead delivery of SAP BTP solutions in project-based environments while ensuring timelines, quality standards, and budgets are met.
  • Develop project documentation including architecture designs, integration plans, and operational guides.
  • Support change management efforts by providing training and transition support for clients adopting SAP BTP solutions.
  • Participate in Agile or Scrum-based delivery environments when applicable.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for SAP BTP across the organization.
  • Act as the technical liaison between internal teams, clients, and external partners.
  • Mentor and guide team members on SAP BTP technologies and integration best practices.
  • Conduct workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions to strengthen internal expertise.
