About The Position
This is a hybrid role for an SAP BTP Architect located in Miami, FL. The position requires local candidates within Florida. The architect will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable solutions on SAP BTP, utilizing technologies such as ABAP, CAPM, and OData. Key responsibilities include working with SAP components like BAS, Fiori, Workzone, and CPI, integrating SAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC) with external platforms, and developing/enhancing ABAP objects. The role involves building cloud-native applications using CAPM, CDS views, and Fiori Elements, optimizing code performance, and using Java and JavaScript for service logic and UI customization. Experience with Node.js runtimes and Python is a plus. The architect will lead SAP BTP projects, mentor team members, promote best practices, collaborate with stakeholders, present architectural strategies, drive innovation, and recommend development process improvements.
Requirements
- Strong ABAP development experience (15+ years preferred).
- 3+ years in SAP BTP with hands-on CAPM, CDS, Node.js.
- Experience with SAP Fiori, SAP CPI, and integration techniques.
- Java/JavaScript skills required.
- Proven experience leading SAP projects and cloud transformation efforts.
- Agile methodology and CI/CD knowledge.
- SAP S/4HANA migration or upgrade projects.
- Familiarity with SAP BAS, Fiori Elements, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with DevOps tools (Jira, Confluence, Git, etc.).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or IT.
- Must be local to Florida with a Florida State ID.

- Python for scripting or automation.
- SAP certifications in ABAP, BTP, or CAPM preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable solutions on SAP BTP using ABAP, CAPM, and OData.

- Drive innovation using new SAP cloud capabilities (CAPM, BAS, CI/CD).
- Recommend and implement development process improvements.
