About The Position

This is a short-term (less than a year) leased employee opportunity for a remote SAP BASIS Specialist. The role requires extensive experience in supporting both SAP ABAP and JAVA stacks, with a focus on cloud implementations and upgrades, including S/4HANA migrations and SAP RISE/Cloud ERP Private Cloud Edition support. The specialist will provide remote on-call support outside of regular work hours, including nights and weekends. Experience with SAP RISE deployed in Azure is mandatory. The position involves administration of SAP and non-SAP enterprise solutions, system design, configuration, and troubleshooting across various environments (on-premises and cloud). A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of five years of progressively responsible IT experience as a SAP BASIS administrator.

Requirements

• Five (5) years as SAP BASIS administrator supporting both SAP ABAP and JAVA stacks.
• Experience supporting at least two (2) major SAP Cloud go-live implementations and/or upgrade projects.
• Experience with S/4HANA migration using selective data transition (SDT).
• Experience with SAP RISE/SAP Cloud ERP Private/SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition support.
• Able to provide remote on-call support outside of regular work hours which may include nights and weekends.
• Experience with SAP RISE (SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition [PCE]) deployed in Azure.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible IT experience in administration of enterprise applications as a SAP BASIS administrator.
• Experience in administration of SAP and non-SAP enterprise solutions (installation, setup, patching, troubleshooting, documentation, coordination), both on-premises and cloud.
• Experience in SAP system design, configuration, and functionality, both on-premises and cloud.
• Experience in system’s development lifecycle, data modeling, and complex technical issue resolution.
• Experience in data maintenance, retrieval, and operating systems (UNIX, Linux, Windows, AIX).
• Experience in all of the following SAP Solutions: ECC6, S/4HANA, BW CRM, BOBJ, PO, BPC, HANA, SAP BTP, SuccessFactors, Cloud Connector, Fiori/Gateway, SAC, BDC, Datasphere, Solution Manager.
• One (1) year supporting the following SAP solutions: BTP, Integration Suite, CALM, Joule, DP Agent, Coud Connector, Business Data Cloud, Analytics Cloud, Datasphere, Signavio, and Cloud Identity Services.

Nice To Haves

• Current SAP certifications related to the systems outlined in the scope of work.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience.
• Deep knowledge of SAP cloud offerings Hyperscaling, and Hyperscalers.
• Proficiency in SAP system refresh processes (native SAP and tools such as LAMA, SAP PCA Add-on).
• Administration experience for NetWeaver Java solutions (Adobe Document Services, Process Orchestration, System Landscape Directory).
• Experience with SAP change management (CTS+, non-ABAP and cloud solutions).
• SAP system administration in DB2/AIX, RHEL environments.
