About The Position

This is a short-term (less than a year) leased employee opportunity for a REMOTE SAP BASIS Specialist. The role involves supporting both SAP ABAP and JAVA stacks, with a focus on cloud implementations and upgrades, including S/4HANA migration and SAP RISE/SAP Cloud ERP Private/SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition support. The specialist will provide remote on-call support outside of regular work hours, including nights and weekends. Experience with SAP RISE (SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition [PCE]) deployed in Azure is required. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of five years of progressively responsible IT experience as a SAP BASIS administrator. The role also involves administration of SAP and non-SAP enterprise solutions, system design, configuration, functionality, and working within the system's development lifecycle, data modeling, and complex technical issue resolution. Experience with data maintenance, retrieval, and operating systems (UNIX, Linux, Windows, AIX) is necessary. A comprehensive list of SAP solutions must have been administered, including ECC6, S/4HANA, BW, CRM, BOBJ, PO, BPC, HANA, SAP BTP, SuccessFactors, Cloud Connector, Fiori/Gateway, SAC, BDC, Datasphere, and Solution Manager. Additionally, one year of supporting specific SAP solutions like BTP, Integration Suite, CALM, Joule, DP Agent, Cloud Connector, Business Data Cloud, Analytics Cloud, Datasphere, Signavio, and Cloud Identity Services is required.

Requirements

• Five (5) years as SAP BASIS administrator supporting both SAP ABAP and JAVA stacks.
• Experience supporting at least two (2) major SAP Cloud go-live implementations and/or upgrade projects, including S/4HANA migration using selective data transition (SDT) and SAP RISE/SAP Cloud ERP Private/SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition support.
• Able to provide remote on-call support outside of regular work hours which may include nights and weekends.
• Experience with SAP RISE (SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition [PCE]) deployed in Azure.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five (5) years of progressively responsible IT experience in administration of enterprise applications as a SAP BASIS administrator.
• Must have experience in administration of SAP and non-SAP enterprise solutions (installation, setup, patching, troubleshooting, documentation, coordination), both on-premises and cloud.
• Must have experience in SAP system design, configuration, and functionality, both on-premises and cloud.
• Must have experience in system’s development lifecycle, data modeling, and complex technical issue resolution.
• Must have experience in data maintenance, retrieval, and operating systems (UNIX, Linux, Windows, AIX).
• Must have experience in all of the following SAP Solutions: ECC6, S/4HANA, BW CRM, BOBJ, PO, BPC, HANA, SAP BTP, SuccessFactors, Cloud Connector, Fiori/Gateway, SAC, BDC, Datasphere, Solution Manager.
• One (1) year supporting the following SAP solutions: BTP, Integration Suite, CALM, Joule, DP Agent, Cloud Connector, Business Data Cloud, Analytics Cloud, Datasphere, Signavio, and Cloud Identity Services.

Nice To Haves

• Current SAP certifications related to the systems outlined in the scope of work.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field from an accredited institution, or equivalent experience.
• Deep knowledge of SAP cloud offerings Hyperscaling, and Hyperscalers.
• Proficiency in SAP system refresh processes (native SAP and tools such as LAMA, SAP PCA Add-on).
• Administration experience for NetWeaver Java solutions (Adobe Document Services, Process Orchestration, System Landscape Directory).
• Experience with SAP change management (CTS+, non-ABAP and cloud solutions).
• SAP system administration in DB2/AIX, RHEL environments.
