About The Position

The SAP Basis Administrator will leverage Raytheon and Collins Aerospace’s relationships with SAP and other hardware and software providers, and lead technical teams through software installations and upgrades. The role works with internal and external customers to resolve technical and other conflicts and administers a broad SAP environment, including SAP ECC, Suite on HANA, BW, Business Objects, Solution Manager, Web Dispatcher, SAP Landscape Transformation, GRC, GTS, SRM, NetWeaver Portals, and SAP PI, as well as cloud integrations such as Ariba and Concur. The position requires a strong understanding of web technologies and cybersecurity capabilities—including firewalls, proxies, reverse proxies, and web application firewalls—and coordination with internal cybersecurity and system administration practices and policies. The administrator performs installations, upgrades, patching, technical migrations, transport administration, performance tuning, capacity planning, client administration, client copies and refreshes, and system landscape configuration. The position participates in an on-call rotation and may require work outside business hours. This is a hybrid role based at a Collins Aerospace major facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. Employees work regularly both onsite and offsite, with the onsite ratio determined in partnership with their leader. U.S. citizenship is required to access information under the program/contract; no security clearance is required. The role offers opportunities to build global SAP peer relationships and develop subject-matter expertise in SAP aerospace and defense capabilities.
