About The Position

The SAP Ariba Administrator is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, optimization, and day‑to‑day support of the organization’s SAP Ariba environment. This role ensures seamless operation of procurement and sourcing processes, partners closely with business stakeholders, and drives continuous improvement across the Ariba platform. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a deep understanding of procurement workflows and supplier management.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience administering SAP Ariba solutions.
  • Hands‑on experience with at least one major Ariba module (Buying & Invoicing, Sourcing, Contracts, or Supplier Management).
  • Strong understanding of procurement, sourcing, and supplier lifecycle processes.
  • Experience supporting integrations with SAP ECC or S/4HANA
  • Experience onboarding new entities within existing system (company acquisitions and divestitures).
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and coordinate with SAP support.
  • Proficiency with data analysis, reporting tools, and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • SAP Ariba certification(s).
  • Experience with Ariba Network supplier enablement.
  • Background in process improvement or procurement operations.
  • Experience in a global or multi‑business‑unit environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain SAP Ariba modules (notably, Buying & Invoicing), including configuration updates, workflow adjustments, and catalog management.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Ariba-related issues; troubleshoot system errors, coordinate with SAP support, and ensure timely resolution.
  • Monitor and support integrations between SAP Ariba and ERP systems (e.g., SAP ECC/S4HANA), middleware, and third‑party applications.
  • Support onboarding and maintenance of suppliers in Ariba Network; assist suppliers with registration, catalog uploads, and transaction troubleshooting.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline procurement processes; recommend and implement system enhancements or automation.
  • Maintain data accuracy, manage user roles and permissions, and develop reports/dashboards to support procurement analytics.
  • Review quarterly Ariba releases, assess impacts, test new features, and coordinate rollout to business teams.
  • Create and maintain system documentation, SOPs, and training materials; conduct training sessions for end users and procurement teams.
  • Ensure system configurations align with internal controls, audit requirements, and security standards.
