About The Position

The SAP Applications Analyst - Business Technology Platform (BTP) designs, delivers, and optimizes SAP BTP solutions that support enterprise business objectives and digital transformation initiatives. The role requires deep expertise in SAP BTP services and broad knowledge of SAP and non-SAP ecosystems to create scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions for application development, integration, automation, analytics, and data management. The analyst partners with business and IT leaders to develop solution strategies and technical designs, leads BTP implementations from ideation through deployment and stabilization, and oversees integrations across SAP and third-party systems. The position also establishes architecture standards, supports governance and compliance, and identifies opportunities to improve platform performance and business value.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
More than 8 years of experience in SAP solution architecture, application development, integration, or platform engineering.
Expertise with SAP BTP services, including Integration Suite, Extension Suite, SAP Build, and cloud application development.
Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and integration patterns.
Experience designing and supporting API-based, event-driven, and hybrid cloud solutions.
Knowledge of SAP development technologies, including CAP, SAPUI5/Fiori, and cloud-native application architectures.
Experience with data and analytics solutions, including SAP Datasphere and related data integration technologies.
Ability to work cross-functionally in complex, global environments.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice To Haves

SAP BTP certification(s).
Experience with hyperscalers such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and modern application lifecycle management practices.
Knowledge of AI, automation, and low-code/no-code solutions within the SAP ecosystem.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain SAP BTP solution strategies, roadmaps, and architectural blueprints.
Design scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions using SAP BTP services, including Integration Suite, Extension Suite, Build Process Automation, SAP Build Apps, and Datasphere.
Ensure SAP BTP architecture aligns with enterprise IT standards, cloud strategies, and business objectives.
Guide application extensions, integrations, automation, and data-driven solutions across SAP and non-SAP environments.
Lead full lifecycle SAP BTP implementations from ideation through deployment and stabilization.
Architect and oversee integrations between SAP and third-party systems using SAP Integration Suite, APIs, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native services.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure technical solutions are high-quality, maintainable, and scalable.
Promote SAP BTP best practices for extensibility, integration, automation, security, and application development.
Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and shape solution strategies.
Translate business needs into technical designs, architecture deliverables, and implementation roadmaps.
Participate in architecture review boards, design sessions, and technical governance forums.
Collaborate with functional and technical teams across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, HR, and other business functions on cross-functional solutions.
Define and enforce SAP BTP architecture standards, policies, and best practices.
Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, governance, and regulatory requirements.
Support platform lifecycle management, environment strategy, and cloud governance initiatives.
Stay current with SAP BTP innovations, cloud technologies, AI capabilities, and industry trends.
Identify opportunities to improve system integration, automation, application extensibility, and platform performance.
Promote emerging SAP technologies and capabilities to enhance business value and user experience.
