About The Position

Under general supervision and reporting to Quality Operations Leadership, the SAP & Inventory Specialist is responsible for workflow & system tasks regarding inventory of parts & material to include reporting and documentation as assigned.

Requirements

  • Engineering Processes, Standard Drawings Conventions, Interpreting Drawing, Specifications, and GD&T
  • FAA, EAR, ITAR. ISO, & AS9100 standards and regulations
  • SAP and EWM systems
  • Quality control standards and inspection methods
  • Manufacturing documentation and processes
  • MS Office and quality data entry systems
  • Fluent English – reading and writing is required
  • Professionalism, integrity, and exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong independent decision-making and problem-solving skills; excellent analytical skills and professional judgment

Responsibilities

  • Execute goods issued for scrapping and process scrap receipts
  • Create posting changes in SAP and assign appropriate movement codes for all transactions to support reporting and auditing compliance
  • Execute, create, and confirm transfer postings and transfer orders
  • Move parts to/from pocket locations, quality inspection stock, blocked stock, and unrestricted-use stock; Verify stock availability and bin locations
  • Clearly define problems, build action plans, and drive closure
  • Follow SAP workflow approvals for scrap disposition decisions
  • Process posting changes requests and confirm warehouse tasks in EWM
  • Manage Handling Units (HUs)- consolidate scrapped parts into scrapping HUs for batch processing
  • Analyze quality data using Advanced Excel, Minitab, JMP, and SQL (executing pre-built queries with filter inputs)
  • Support physical inventory processes and flag damaged/unusable items for scrap disposition
  • Support containment activities including sort, rework, and isolation under the direction of PQE/MQE
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Ensure material documents are generated correctly for all movements and reconcile with physical counts
  • Generate and confirm warehouse tasks to physically move products from storage bins to the designated scrap storage type/bin- audit all movements as required
  • Generate inventory adjustment reports and scrap cost summaries by cost center
